This is an album by a man who, as a teacher, had to be experienced in the flesh. Dynamic, innovative and refreshing…he is one of the main reasons that the Humber music program has carried on for so long. Quite simply, the best teacher I ever had.

  5. Hi Al!

Listening to your album has been fascinating and illuminating. Thanks for sharing in this manner!

I studied at Humber during the time when you were on the Board and therefore missed being a student of yours. In years prior to that, however, I certainly heard the fruits of your labour in the Humber “A Band. Actually, I should type that as THE Humber “A Band”, because that ensemble was uniquely powerful and fantastic. You and the band were an inspiration to myself and thousands of other young musicians. You put that music department on the map! Congratulations, Al!
