I Have been listening to this album for about 17 years.It is an excellent exploration of the musical possibilities. It is one of the first truly Hybrid (electric) projects to emerge from the British (“Jazz”) scene in the late 60’s.I would go so far as describing it as “Psychedelic”.It is still a head of it’s time nearly 40 years after it’s release and I am greatly indebted to the group of musicians around this project for the constant inspiration. My own band “Skeleton Soup” draw much from the approach on this album.I have an original Vertigo “Swirl” gate-fold copy still in very good nick and it is a pleasure to put on any time.If any one out there is a record producer etc or interested, drop me a line I’ll send Mp3 samples of my own work.
